The Schneifel runs northeast from Brandscheid near Prüm to Ormont along the border with Belgium.Another ski area is located near the town of Prüm in the "Wolfsschlucht" gorge. Hiking trails open up the landscape and lead to Eifel views, for example. The "Prümer Kalkmulde" and the "Schönecker Schweiz" are a treasure trove of fossils.
