The comfortable, newly renovated "Eifel - Moselhöhe" vacation apartment offers the ideal base for active vacationers. The rural domicile in the Eifel village of Roes is in a quiet location, in the immediate vicinity of Pyrmont Castle and the popular Swan Church. On an area of 98 square meters there are 4 beds, a kitchen and a modern bathroom with shower. The west-facing balcony rounds off the apartment. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven and microwave as well as a coffee pod and filter coffee machine. A key safe allows for flexible arrival times. Shopping facilities can be found in Treis-Karden, Cochem, Kaisersesch and Mayen. A direct connection to the A48 ensures optimal accessibility. The award-winning "Pyrmonter Felsensteig" hiking trail is within walking distance. The "Eifelhöhen and Brohlbachtal" circular hiking trail also passes by Roes. The proximity to the Moselle, the Geierlay suspension rope bridge, the cities of Koblenz and Trier and the Nürburgring make the Eifel village an attractive starting point for excursions. The attached photos show the sights within walking distance. Active vacationers get their money's worth: various hiking and cycling routes lead past the municipality of Roes. The River Elz flows alongside the municipality and forms the border between the districts of Mayen-Koblenz and Cochem-Zell. Pyrmont Castle, with its picturesque waterfall, and the Pyromter Mühle mill are within walking distance and are popular excursion destinations. Another wonderful hiking route is the castle tour, which connects Pyrmont and Eltz castles. Fantastic views and scenic highlights are guaranteed! But the small Eifel town is also a good address for families and vacationers looking for peace and relaxation. Far away from the stress of the big city, the region offers space to unwind. Other attractions include the Volcanic Eifel, Lake Laach, Maria Laach Monastery and numerous exhibitions and museums on the volcanic activities and origins of the Eifel. The Nürburgring and the Moselle region - including Cochem - are also within easy reach.

    Our guesthouse can be found in the idyllic village called Kottenborn, far away from transit traffic. It is located in the heart of the Eifel, surrounded by green forests, very close to the Nürburgring (approx. 5km). The special location of our guesthouse offers a lot of activities for the whole family. When hiking through the surrounding landscape you can see different local animals. For relaxation, providing you with deck chairs is a matter of course. Shelters are available for bicycles and bikes. Our partly roofed outdoor area is perfect to end a sunny day with a cosy get-together (drinks self-service). Our facilities also include a barbecue area with a permanently installed swivel grill. We would be pleased to arrange a barbecue evening for you (on advance booking for 8 persons or more). Hint: There is a small mixed-breed dog living in our house.

    Welcome to our riding and holiday centre. All trail riders, riders with and without their own horse and all holiday guests who are looking for peace and relaxation in a cosy atmosphere and idyllic landscape are welcome. The family and pet-friendly holiday complex comprises two log cabins, each with four beds and a sofa bed. Each house is fully furnished and has its own fenced garden with terrace and barbecue. We also offer a holiday flat/group accommodation with seven beds on two levels, two shower bathrooms, lounge and fully equipped kitchen. In addition to our riding farm, the surrounding area also offers many attractive destinations for active holidaymakers, e.g: - Castle Eltz and Castle Pyrmont - Maria Laach Abbey on the Laach Lake - Volcano Museum Mendig and volcano hiking trails - Animal park and climbing wall Klotten - Moselle villages with Moselle boat trips and steamboat trips - Koblenz with its beautiful old town and sights - and of course many hiking trails through meadows, forests and fields.
