    Our cozy bright apartment is on the ground floor and has a separate entrance. There is an open kitchen/living area with a sofa bed, a barrier-free bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed. The terrace is barrier-free and invites you to relax and feel good. A parking space is available free of charge. Located in the beautiful volcanic Eifel, it is an ideal starting point for walks, long hikes or bike tours on the Maare-Moselle cycle path. Ideally located for hikers, cyclists or bikers. The "Eyes of the Eifel", the Holzmaar, Pulvermaar, Schalkenmehrener Maar, Weinfelder Maar and Gemündener Maar are within a radius of approx. 10 km and invite you to walk, swim or go boating. Hiking trails such as the Eifelsteig, Lieserpfad and Heimatspuren can be reached in the immediate vicinity. Day trips to Germany's oldest city, to Trier or to the Moselle, to Koblenz to the border triangle or to the Nürburgring can be reached by car in one to two hours. The motorway junctions Mehren/Vulkaneifel and Manderscheid are only approx. 12 km away. You can reach the train station Wittlich/Wengerohr in approx. 35 km, from here excursions to the Saar loop, to the Moselle or to Cologne are possible with many connections. Shops can be found in Gillenfeld (approx. 5 km) or in Daun (approx. 10 km). Please note that there are no shops or restaurants in the village itself. On request and against payment of costs, we can therefore fill the fridge for you before your arrival. If required, a second small apartment for 1-2 people is available in town and can be arranged.
