The approx. 40 sqm vacation apartment is approx. 10 minutes' walk from Adenau town center , where there is a range of restaurants and stores. The nearby Nürburgring is approx. 7 km away. There is a large parking lot available. Directly on site you will find numerous hiking trails and the "Hohe Acht" with 747 meters, the highest elevation in the Eifel.

The Gerberhaus is part of an old farmstead in the area of the castle town of Manderscheid. Quiet and yet centrally located, you will stay here on the spacious property with inner courtyard and garden.Families will appreciate the large property and the many play possibilities, hiking or mountain bike groups the central location in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel. The special layout allows for flexible use of the Gerberhaus:You can choose between a double room with its own shower and toilet, a holiday flat for 5 people or the entire house - just as you need it! Yard & Garden:The Gerberhaus is part of the large property - with old farmhouse, barn with straw boarding house, 2 separate courtyards, large meadow, vegetable garden and garden house. Cyclists and mountain bikers can safely store their bikes and also wash them after a "wild tour".Families with children especially enjoy the garden and courtyard with play facilities (trampoline, slide, table tennis table), and the large courtyard area for playing and romping. The garden is not available to overnight guests of the Strohlager.     Our house is located between the Monschau districts of Mützenich and Kalterherberg on the L106 country road, situated on the edge of the North Eifel Nature Park and the Hohes Venn moorland. Within a radius of 2 km you can access hiking and cycling trails that lead to your nature experience. The old town of Monschau, restaurants and retail trade can be reached after a few kilometres.The holiday flats in direct forest edge location invite you to relax.Both holiday flats are in the same house, on the left the Brettbaum flat and on the right the Kirmessief flat, each with its own entrance. The respective outdoor areas are directly next to the flats. The car park is directly at the house. The wallbox 11KW - 400 Volt -plug TYPE 2 provides charging for your e-car while you enjoy your leisure time.Books, games for inside and outside are ready for you. The table tennis table, swing and slide offer fun for young and old.You are also welcome to use the lockable bicycle garage. It is equipped with bicycle repair tools and electricity.Hiking and cycling maps as well as recommendations for excursions are available directly from us. Extensive material with tour suggestions is also available.
