Wershofen is a picturesque village in the Eifel region with about 900 inhabitants at an altitude of around 500 meters. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and the impressive Aremberg mountain. In the village itself, you will find a self-service village shop with a small selection of groceries for daily needs. Peter Wohlleben's Forest Academy, with a small vegan café, invites you to linger. After an active day, you can indulge in regional specialties at the Landgasthaus Pfahl or the Kastenholz restaurant. The area is ideal for hikers, mountain bikers, and those seeking tranquility. In Wershofen itself, you will find circular trails described by the community and the Forest Rescuer Trail. The Eifel loops, Eifel tracks, Ahrsteig, and Red Wine Hiking Trail can be explored in close proximity. The Ahr cycle path for extensive cycling tours into the Ahr Valley is also quickly accessible. The Freillinger Lake can be reached in about 7 km. In addition to outdoor activities, motorsport fans can enjoy themselves at the Nürburgring. The City Outlet Bad Münstereifel, located 15 km away, invites for shopping. Thus, Wershofen offers a perfect blend of nature experiences and relaxation.

The Eifel Chalet Niederehe Our Eifel Chalet was built in 2017 as a wooden house in log cabin style and has been used as a residence until the end of 2024. This traditional sustainable construction method is characterized by its natural appearance and offers a pleasant living climate due to the material wood. Perfect for your cozy stay in the Vulkaneifel! By definition, a chalet is a mountain or alpine hut. But don't worry - our Eifel Chalet is a comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people with plenty of amenities for a relaxing stay with us. Our holiday home has a living area of 91 m2 and is divided into two bedrooms, a bathroom, a utility room, a hallway, and a large living/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen. Adjacent to the large covered terrace, there is a lockable storage room for, for example, bicycles. Part of the garden can be shared, and there is a large parking space directly at the holiday home on the property. We are very pleased to announce that our “Eifel Chalet Niederehe” has been awarded 4 stars by the German Tourism Association in February 2025!

Welcome, we are pleased that you are interested in our cozy apartment and would be pleased to welcome you as our guests. The house is located in a quiet and sunny location with a partly covered and furnished new terrace, the renovated and newly furnished apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the forest. Shopping facilities, sports facilities riding arena / hall, tennis courts and fitness center can be reached in a few minutes. For hiking enthusiasts, the hiking and forest trails start after about 100 meters. Nürburgring guests can reach the start and finish area after approx. 7 km, the old Nordschleife in the area of the Adenauer Forest / Fuchsröhre / Schwedenkreuz after approx. 1.5 km on foot. The house has an apartment for up to 5 people with the possibility of an extra bed for up to 6 people and a double room / shower / WC. WLAN is available throughout the house.

We have built a total of 11 vacation homes with great attention to detail in the middle of the Northern Eifel National Park and have been open since May 2021. There are two types of house: - three times 4-person house with two separate bedrooms and 80 square meters of living space - eight times 2-person houses with one bedroom and 40 square meters of living space. The high-quality furnished vacation homes are spread over two levels. Highlights include a wood-burning stove, Finnish sauna, fully equipped kitchen, TV, large panoramic windows, comfortable box-spring bed, underfloor heating, shower room, reading niche, optional breakfast service, private terrace with outdoor seating and ample customer parking. The grounds of the vacation homes are car-free, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The houses are offered including final cleaning, bed linen, towels, bathrobes and all utility costs.
