Welcome to our riding and holiday centre. All trail riders, riders with and without their own horse and all holiday guests who are looking for peace and relaxation in a cosy atmosphere and idyllic landscape are welcome. The family and pet-friendly holiday complex comprises two log cabins, each with four beds and a sofa bed. Each house is fully furnished and has its own fenced garden with terrace and barbecue. We also offer a holiday flat/group accommodation with seven beds on two levels, two shower bathrooms, lounge and fully equipped kitchen. In addition to our riding farm, the surrounding area also offers many attractive destinations for active holidaymakers, e.g: - Castle Eltz and Castle Pyrmont - Maria Laach Abbey on the Laach Lake - Volcano Museum Mendig and volcano hiking trails - Animal park and climbing wall Klotten - Moselle villages with Moselle boat trips and steamboat trips - Koblenz with its beautiful old town and sights - and of course many hiking trails through meadows, forests and fields.

Our small hotel / inn is located in the beautiful Mützenich at 610 meters altitude. The air and the view are unique and invites you to relax. The popular town of Monschau is about 4.5 km from our house. The premium hiking trail Eifelsteig, from Aachen to Trier, passes our inn in 300 m distance. The new Ravelroute (Vennbahntrasse) is about 2,5 km away from our house. Especially for cyclists we have a new garage, which can be used free of charge on request. For our guests arriving by car there is a large parking lot available free of charge. Four-legged friends are also welcome on request. We offer free WLAN in the entire house and in addition to many other, small attentions on our well-equipped rooms, we can still shine with a highly frequented and very good á la carte restaurant. A home-style/ Mediterranean cuisine, rounded off by constantly changing daily specials make many guests very happy. The Venngasthof Zur Buche is now one of the best restaurants in the northern Eifel. Located on the outskirts of Schmidt, right at the boundary of the Eifel National Park, the house Anne (semi-detached) combines relaxation in the forest with a magnificent view over the Rur Lake. The house accommodates four to six people. Two terraces invite you to sunbathe. The fully equipped kitchen has a serving hatch to the friendly dining room. From there, you enter a bright, cozy living room furnished with a sofa and armchair. Numerous hiking trails pass right by the house. The log cabin forms a unit with the neighboring house, which is privately used by the landlords. House Anne has a separate entrance. The Youth Hostel Prüm with the congress and events center has 150 beds in rooms for 1-, 2- and 4-bed occupancy as well as 6-bed rooms in maisonette style. The rooms are spacious and modern equipped and have all shower / WC.The hostel has category IV +Three concepts under one roof: youth hostel, event center and restaurant. Fascinating, hospitable and very modern is the youth hostel, which is located in close proximity to the city center. Prüm is the center of the Hocheifel.
