He had convinced himself of the ideal location of the valley basin between Kunowald, Salm and gentle hills.The abbey's first name "Claustrum" means island, refuge, protection and shelter. In just a few years, the monks turned the monastery into an important religious and spiritual center of the Eifel region.The entire monastery complex is still enclosed by the medieval cloister wall (14th century).The structural principle of the complex is the concentric circles (like the coat of arms) in the exterior: guest house, workshops, mill, bookshop, inn, courtyard, gardens: in the interior: Church and monastery building, cloister and quadrum. In the center is the church, which was rebuilt in the 1950s according to the model of the old building by C. Kretschmar.

Both families with children and groups of friends will feel right at home at “Quiddelbacher Höhe.” A beautiful, large garden with seating and barbecue facilities, as well as a construction trailer, is at your disposal. Additionally, the carport can accommodate two cars. The small town of Adenau is located in the immediate vicinity. There you’ll find a variety of shopping options, restaurants, and stores. The world-famous Nürburgring is also just a few minutes’ drive away and is within easy walking distance—ideal for motorsports enthusiasts, event attendees, or anyone who wants to experience the “Green Hell” atmosphere firsthand. Other attractions in the region include the beautiful Maare craters and the cities of Koblenz, Trier, and Cochem.

I am a listed house built in the 18th century with charm and character. I am located in one of the most beautiful alleyways in Stolberg's old town. In 2016, I was kissed awake and completely renovated so that my guests feel completely at ease.

Lovingly furnished, non-smoking vacation apartment in the center of Daun - Steinborn. The apartment is located directly on hiking trails / "Eifelsteig" in the immediate vicinity of the spa town of Daun and the Eifel maars. You can reach the Maare-Mosel cycle path via side roads in 7 km. The apartment has a nice living room with flat screen TV, a cozy sitting area / sofa bed. In the bedroom there is a box spring double bed, as well as a closet / sideboard with plenty of storage space. The new fitted kitchen has a ceramic hob, high oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, a dining table with four chairs. From the kitchen area you have access to the cozy conservatory, as well as the terrace, sunbathing lawn and barbecue facilities. The disabled-friendly bathroom has a walk-in shower, WC and 2 washbasins. The entire apartment has free W-LAN. There is a storage facility for bicycles / motorcycles in the garage. As our guests, you can also hire an e-bike for men and/or women from us (just ask us on arrival). The rental fee for the bikes is € 15 per bike per day. A large Rewe supermarket with bakery and fresh meat counter is 3 km away. 200 meters from the vacation apartment you can enjoy the Eifel cuisine in the restaurant Landgasthaus Beim Brauer.
