Relax in our whirlpool in the garden, surrounded by flower beds and sunbathing lawn with a great view over the mountain ranges of the Eifel. During the conversion of the former cowshed and hayloft in 2020 / 21, the large room on the 1st floor was largely preserved, as were the old roof posts. An easily accessible staircase leads to the cloakroom and from there to the reading area with relaxing armchair and the living room with a fascinating view over the countryside and at night to the starry sky. The fully equipped modern kitchen will make your heart beat faster - you will hardly miss anything that is necessary to prepare a good meal. You can then enjoy your meal at the beech wood table on comfortable chairs. The two standard-sized double bedrooms with adjustable slatted frames and raised access ensure a good night's sleep. The bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower cubicle and rain shower and beech wood washbasin is separate from the WC. The enchanted garden with sunbathing lawn, terrace under ancient trees and the whirlpool invites you to relax and enjoy the panoramic view from the barbecue house, even when the weather is not so good. Idyllically located at the foot of the Kasselburg, in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, the Maijeschhof, built in 1807, combines rural life in the old village center of Pelm with the walking distance to the town of Gerolstein. Our lovingly renovated, former farmhouse offers you ample space and numerous opportunities for a relaxing vacation. In the historic barn, there are three charming vacation apartments that blend modern comfort with rustic flair. Our common room provides a cozy meeting spot in front of the stove – ideal for cooking together, enjoying coffee, or even for meetings and seminars. In the warm months, the sun terrace, garden, and barbecue area invite you to relax. For the adventurous, there is even the option to camp on our meadow. Owner Ellen Petry spent happy childhood days here, bought the farm in 2021, and now lives in the old farmhouse. She welcomes you personally and is available to assist you with advice and support.
