You are on vacation in a cozy, friendly furnished vacation apartment (apartment) in the Vulkaneifel (Gesundland region).Enjoy the beautiful landscape for cycling and hiking tours as well as the numerous excursion possibilities in the surrounding area.Our apartments are located in a quiet residential area in the village of Wallscheid, only approx. 6 km from the tourist center of Manderscheid and 5 km from Gillenfeld, where the deepest crater lake (with outdoor pool) north of the Alps is located.Within a radius of 15 km you can reach all the maars of the beautiful Volcanic Eifel, the Moselle is approx. 20 km away.

Our house, run and designed in a long family tradition , radiates the rustic coziness of a good parlor. The main house made of quarry stone was built in 1786 and has been constantly renovated since then. In the 1980s, the entire half-timbered house was extended and in 1998, due to the constant demand from guests, a second house with spacious rooms was added. Our house radiates a pleasant coziness , which on the one hand offers everything for business and on the other hand meets the private wishes of traveling families. Our hotel offers 31 rustic and modern furnished rooms. From Monday to Friday you can convince yourself of our cuisine. You can book our rooms for parties, weddings, private celebrations, business lunches, funeral coffees and many other events.

Our 4 holiday flats in the Irreler Muehle, Talstraße 23:Gelbe, Blaue and Gruene Ferienwohnung and Ferienwohnung am MuehlgrabenThe Irreler Muehle is situated on the outskirts of Irrel, surrounded by water and forest, on a road with no through traffic. Our non-smoking flats are built with environmentally friendly materials, are furnished to a high standard and are family-friendly. The Wohnung am Muehlgraben is barrier-free and accessible at ground level. Free Wi-Fi is available in all flats. In addition, our guests can use the covered terrace and the garden; a small playground is available for children. For families and groups, we offer a lounge with kitchen.After the flood disaster in July 2021 severely affected the Irreler Muehle, since March 2024 all holiday flats are available again in our "Stammhaus". The Ferienhaus im Unterdorf, Ewerhartstraße 4:Whether for shopping, a restaurant visit or a bike tour: from here you can get anywhere quickly and still live in peace. In July 2023, our new "Ferienhaus im Unterdorf" near the Pruem river was completed. It offers space for up to 6 people on 2 floors. 2 holiday flats in the Ferienhaus am alten Kirchturm, Buechelstraße 1:Ferienwohnung Teufelsschlucht, Ferienwohnung Wasserfaelle & Ferienwohnung Am WerthSince August 2023 and June 2024, three more flats are bookable, also located in Irrel's ‘Unterdorf’. Two of them, named after the two natural monuments for which Irrel is famous, are designed for 4 and 4-5 people respectively. The ‘Am Werth’ flat on the ground floor can be booked for 2 people.

Our 80-square-meter vacation rental is situated in a quiet location on the edge of town and the forest. Here, up to 4 people can feel right at home and enjoy a pleasant vacation. Spread over two levels, you’ll find a kitchenette, dining area, living area, and 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (shower/toilet). You’ll also find a relaxing open loft area in the apartment. The apartment features a ground-level entrance. You’ll be staying in one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas of the Eifel. Here, you can fully enjoy the beauty of nature and let your mind wander. Blankenheim is easily accessible by car via the A1 and offers many opportunities for day trips in the region. Aachen, Trier, Cologne, and Koblenz are also within easy reach from here. We are active as hiking and biking guides with the local Eifelverein and would be happy to advise you. From Blankenheim, you can set out on many hikes, such as the Eifelsteig, Ahrsteig, Tiergartentunnelweg, themed trails, and local trails (Eifelspuren and Eifelschleifen) through stunning natural scenery. The Eifel’s network of bike trails is easily accessible from here, including the Ahr Bike Trail, the Kyll Bike Trail, the Eifel-Höhen-Route, and much more! We look forward to your visit! Our guesthouse is quietly situated below the historic castle complex. Hiking and cycling paths lead directly past the house. All rooms are equipped with solid beech furniture, wooden floor, satellite colour TV and radio alarm clock. Family room available (two double rooms with connecting door). Double rooms can be booked as single rooms. Multi-bed rooms available on request. * We have hiking maps of the municipality of Hellenthal and the Eifel National Park available for hikers. * As a qualified National Park host, I am happy to answer your questions about the Eifel National Park. * For the more adventurous, there is advice for tours in the nearer or further surroundings. * Fresh fruit and water are available all day in our tea kitchen, where you can also prepare coffee, tea or a cappuccino.
