Circular hike around the Manderscheid-Manderscheiderhof hilltop.

The 87er can be combined with the 86er hiking trail or walked as an "eight", as both run in parallel along the Mühlbach stream. This trail essentially circles the hilltop formed by Mühlbachtal and Mandelbachtal to the west of Waxweiler. An extended break in the small and very well-kept village of Manderscheid is recommended.

The hiking trail leads mainly through forest and is therefore very suitable for warm summer days.
