HeimatSpur Mühlenweg Strotzbüsch

The focus of this hike is on the old mills around Mückeln and Strotzbüsch. But you can also enjoy the wonderful natural landscape with secluded stream valleys.

Before you set off...

It happens from time to time that sections of the trail have to be temporarily diverted or closed. Just take a look at www.gesundland-vulkaneifel.de/info/wege-info/.

The trail runs away from the main roads through the Siebenbach valley to Oberscheidweiler Mühle, which is located directly on the Alfbach stream. The trail leads up to Mückeln via natural paths and asphalt roads. Passing the idyllic monastery pond, you reach the Schutzalf memorial. From there, the trail runs along the Diefenbach stream to the Immerather Maar. You then return to Strotzbüsch past the Immerather mill.

• 4.1 km "Strotzbüscher Thumm" (Roman grave)
• 9.8 km Museum of old iron
• 16.9 km Immerather Maar
