HeimatSpur Döhmbergweg

The route leads through meadows and forests to the foot of the Döhmberg. A wonderful walk through a piece of the volcanic Eifel.

This tranquil loop trail begins in the village of Betteldorf at the parking lot by the community center. Well-marked from the start, the trail begins on paved surfaces and offers a pleasant mix of nature trails and short stretches through meadows, winding through a wooded area with impressive beech trees.

The Döhmberg comes into view with its interesting dome-shaped summit and can be seen from several sides.

From a hilltop, you can see the villages of Dockweiler and Dreis. Here, at kilometer 3.8, you have the option to connect to the “HeimatSpur Quellenweg” trail and visit the Dreiser Weiher.

A cozy rest area with a beautiful view invites you to take a short break.
