The circular trail in Meckel is easy to walk. and about 4 km long. A stop at the Herrig Inn is worthwhile.

The "Hero's Tour" leads through the beautiful village of Meckel. The village is located in a valley hollow and won a gold plaque in 1991 in the competition "Our village should become more beautiful". The circular route "Heldentour" starts at the "Pfarrkirche Sankt Bartholomäus".
On paved forest and meadow paths you hike around the district "Auf der Held", name bearer of this route.
Beautiful views over the orchard meadows and the Nüßbach valley are offered to you here.
In some places you can see as far as the beer town of Bitburg on a clear day.
