The Kyll corresponds to the Losheimer Graben at the border to Belgium. The Kyll, at about 130 km, is the longest river in the Eifel with its source and mouth located within the Eifel.

On this route, forest passages alternate with open spaces and imposing views. On days when the race track is open, there is the opportunity to experience motor sport live.

From the romantic Pyrmont Castle, the route runs along the Elzbach stream to Eltz Castle.

Explore the natural Pommerbach valley from the source to the estuary.

The castle represents the landmark of our place. A walk there is always worthwhile. From here you can enjoy an impressive view of Schönecken and its surroundings.

 The gothic parish church from the 13th century has a valuable Balthasar-König-organ from 1730.

The Roman villa is known as a locality since 1890 and was investigated by the local community Bodenbach from 2003 with the most modern geophysical prospecting methods.

Dear guests, you will find our holiday apartment in the middle of the Eifel in the center of Nettersheim - directly on the Eifelsteig. It was badly affected by the flood in summer 2021, like many other houses in Urft, Erft and in the Ahr valley.
