In the Sammetbach valley between Hasborn and Oberscheidweiler, the Hasborn acidulous spring lies on the Vulkaneifel-Pfad "Zwei Bäche Pfad".

Here you are a guest at one of the most idyllic campsites in the Eifel, which is classified with 5 stars by the German Tourism Association. The bungalows are built in terraces on a slope right next to the forest. They have a magnificent view of the beautiful Prümtal valley and the town of Waxweiler, which is only a 6-minute walk away. 97 generously parcelled pitches (80 to 120 m²) with electricity connections are available at our campsite. Many pitches are located directly on the Prüm river. The holiday complex is the starting point for interesting excursions to Belgium and Luxembourg. You can also go hiking or cycling for hours. Experience a cosy holiday in beautiful natural surroundings in the Southern Eifel Nature Park. Here you will find pure relaxation - because you are a guest in one of the most idyllic holiday parks in the Eifel with bungalows and a campsite. The outdoor pool is right next to the holiday park and admission is free for our guests.

The apartment and the double room, for self-catering, feature tiled floors and are equipped with a satellite flat-screen TV, a kitchenette, and the double room has a cooking facility, coffee machine, kettle, and a small refrigerator. Of course, each unit has its own bathroom with a shower. The apartment has a large balcony and there is also a shared seating area with barbecue facilities in the courtyard. Our guests can start right into our beautiful hiking region, go cycling, or if snow conditions allow, ski in nearby Jammelshofen. The Abbey Maria Laach is located 25 km from the accommodation. Cologne/Bonn Airport is 70 km away.

In the Eifel National Park centre at the Vogelsang IP “International Place”, visitors can experience nature with all their senses - indoors and outdoors. Surrounded by dense mixed deciduous forests, the modern visitors’ centre above the Urftsee lake has hosted the “Wildnis(t)räume” (“Wilderness Dreams”) exhibition - a barrier-free, interactive nature experience for people of all ages. The Eifel National Park centre is open all year round.
