The listed 17th century farmhouse provides a vivid insight into the rural living culture of the region. The museum also hosts atmospheric events such as Advent markets.

THE EIFELHEIMAT VACATION APARTMENT Our spacious vacation apartment (100 m²) with balcony is located in the middle of the hilltop village of Schleiden-Herhahn, in the North Eifel National Park, and can accommodate up to 5 people. A free parking lot is available directly at the house. You can expect a newly furnished, modern apartment in a cozy and bright country house style. The apartment is located on the second floor and has its own entrance. Two large bedrooms, an open-plan living room with sofa bed, a flat-screen TV, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and fridge and a bathroom with shower. For added convenience, towels and bed linen are optional at the time of booking for an extra charge, as is a garage parking space (for an extra charge). Our house offers the ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, mountain biking and motorcycle tours. Further activities: Jogging, biking, sailing, swimming, paddling, fishing.

Lot 54 is a multi-storey residential building that has been tastefully refurbished and renovated in an exclusive style. There are currently 2 large vacation apartments, a large parking lot and a very large playground behind the house. Unfortunately, this is currently only 100m down the road. The meadow is perfect for barbecues and chilling out and is located next to a small stream.

As the only conglomerate rock in the Monschauer Land, the immense, 80 metre-long Richelsley Rock lies on the edge of the High Fens. It was topped with a cross in 1890 to honour Prior Stephan Horrichem, the “Apostle of the High Fens”.

The ruins of the Hardtburg moated castle lie on the heights of the Stotzheim Forest. Even today, the remains of the keep, the outer castle and the ring walls bear witness to a fortified medieval fortress, as its character has not been changed by alterations.

The refuge at the Vierherrenstein lies on the Way of St James and the moor path as well as on the VIA cycle route from Cologne to Jünkerath.  

The refurbished half-timbered house is located in the farmstead of the old rectory of Kirmutscheid / only 5 minutes from the Nürburgring. The main house was built in 1709 by Baron Gallen to Assen for the priest and is directly adjacent to the church ST Wendelinus which was built in 1214 by Count Ulrich von Nürburg.  The house has about 50 square meters of living space and has been restored with great attention to detail. To not lose  the pleasant indoor climate, the renovation is made with natural materials only.
