- DUE TO STRUCTURAL DEFECTS, THE RÖMERTURM IS CURRENTLY CLOSED! -From the Römerturm you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Eifel landscape. The tower was built in 1997 on the remains of a former watchtower on the eastern edge of Kaisersesch.

The bobbin war in 1798 was planned as a liberation war for the West Eifel population against the French occupiers. At the parish church in Arzfeld there is a clapper war memorial erected by the Eifelverein in 1908.

The Catholic parish church of St. Johannes Evangelist was built in 1867/68 by August Rincklage and Caspar Clemens Pickel according to plans drawn up in 1855 by the Cologne cathedral builder Friedrich von Schmidt.

Located in front of the brewery and next to the restaurant, Simonbraeu, is the Bitburger Beerfountain. The fountain, which was built in 1937 by the Mayener sculptor, Professor Burger, originally stood on the Marktplatz, the town square. After WW II, it was erected to its present location.
