The Gerberhof is no longer a classic farm shop. The products can be bought from the vending machine at any time. Vending machines are located at Kirchstraße 17 in Mertloch (there are also seasonal items to take away here, e.g. pumpkins) and at Centro in Polch (Im Roten Tal 2-4).

The rustically furnished guesthouse combines reception, kiosk, snack bar, tourist information, and Wi-Fi hotspot under one roof. A spacious lounge with a fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere. The café, featuring heated seating and a large terrace, offers Eifel specialties, hearty salads, as well as coffee and cake from the local baker. Breakfast is available upon request, and fresh baked goods are delivered daily. Note: The kitchen remains closed in winter.
