If you are deep in the forest and listen closely, you will discover many different sounds: the tapping of the woodpecker, the calling of the jay, the rustling of mice in the leaves. Each sound is like an instrument in this grand nature melody.
The trees join in too: When the wind sweeps through their leaves, a soft rustling occurs. Raindrops drum on branches and leaves, and sometimes an old trunk creaks in time. The whole forest resonates – but only if you truly listen to it.
