Kreuz im Venn
Monschau
Open today
As the only conglomerate rock in the Monschauer Land, the immense, 80 metre-long Richelsley Rock lies on the edge of the High Fens. It was topped with a cross in 1890 to honour Prior Stephan Horrichem, the “Apostle of the High Fens”.

St. Rochus Kirche Bruch
Bruch
Open today
The church was built in 1807/1808. From 1872 to 1874 the church was extended and received its present appearance. The high altar (1908), the baroque pulpit, the confessional from the 18th century, the Pieta, the Nazarene windows and the organ are worth seeing.
In the 1680s there was a simple Anna chapel at today's cemetery. In 1867 the community decided to build a larger chapel, the foundation stone of which was laid on March 15, 1868. It is dedicated to "honor the birth of Mary".
Between March and May there is a natural spectacle in the Eifel that is unparalleled: Millions of wild daffodils stretch their little heads towards the sun and transform the valley meadows into a yellow sea of blossoms. Whether on a guided tour or on your own - a hike in the Oleftal becomes a special experience during this time.
