The church was rebuilt in 1762 in Antweiler. Most recently it was completely renovated and restored in the early seventies for the 1000th anniversary in 1975.

The museum is housed in the former home of the Eifel poet Peter Zirbes. The modest size of the building with its original furnishings is an example of the simple standard of living of the Niederkailer and Landscheider traders.

In the eighties, the local council decided to expand the existing building and use it as a village community center. Since June 3rd, 1989 the village community center has been the center of the village life.

The 10.5 km Dreiser Kreuze-Weg leads you to the group of crosses "am Blenter" (station 9) and then runs a short section parallel to the Dreiser Orchideenweg.
