The Landal Greenpark Wirfttal Stadtkyll lies in a landscape rich in forest in the middle of the volcanic Eifel. In addition to various accommodations, the park also offers a wide range of leisure activities for young and old. In total, there are 209 cottages, 10 mobile homes and 4 wood lodges in the park.

    The 960-soul community of Kirchwald is located on a ridge between the Nette and Nitz valleys. From the Nettetal, a winding road winds directly behind Bürresheim Castle at an altitude of around 500 m. Worth seeing is the lookout point "Nitzblick" as a special highlight on the "Panorama Wanderweg" as well as the "Stop-o-Mat" as a measuring station for cyclists.

    The community of Weiler is idyllically located between the town of Mayen and the Nürburgring. The hamlet flows on the outskirts and the Karbach on the eastern boundary. The Niederelz district further south is affected by Wiesbach and Elz. Together the two places have about 480 inhabitants.
