The "Sportbox": Movement for everyone, right in the green
More movement in everyday life, training in the middle of nature, engaging in sports and play in public spaces and fresh air: the city administration of Bitburg is contributing to this by establishing an innovative storage box for training equipment. The weatherproof app-controlled "Sportbox" offers all citizens the opportunity to use various training and sports equipment such as mats, weights, or medicine balls for free – without needing their own equipment. The exercises can be customized, for which the spacious Indian playground on Rembrandtstraße near the Ost Stadium provides ideal conditions.
