Ich bin der sprechende Hasselbach
Stolberg
Hello, I am the Hasselbach! I babble, gurgle, and roar through the valley – sometimes softly, sometimes loudly.
Long ago, streams were important to people. They used the water for washing, drinking, and powering mills. Today, I am a habitat for many animals: dragonflies fly over the water and water ouzels dive for insects.
If you listen closely, you can hear how lively I am. Every stone, every leaf, every bend changes my sound.
Discover my language: Close your eyes and listen. Can you recognize three different sounds that the Solchbach makes? Why not try to imitate them!
