Ich bin der Fischbach – und ich kenne jede Brücke

Hello, I'm the Fischbach. I may not be very big, but I can be felt everywhere in the village.

Sometimes you see me glistening between the stones, sometimes you just hear me - and then I disappear under a bridge again. In the past, streams were particularly important for life in the village. The power of the water drove mills that ground grain, for example, long before electricity and motors changed everyday life.

Today, I flow quietly through the village and find my own way: in small bends I find my way and rush under bridges that connect the village. If you take a closer look at these bridges, you soon realize that each one looks a little different. Depending on how the water flows underneath and what the banks look like, they are different heights.

Bridge challenge: Follow me for a while and keep your eyes peeled. Can you spot and count all the bridges?
