Heimbach
The Hirschley is located at an altitude of 512 meters above sea level. From here, you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of Lake Rursee and the steep slopes of the northern shore.
You will find the "Hirschley" Eifel view in the barrier-free Wilder Kermeter nature experience area, which is located in the middle of the Eifel National Park on the Kermeter ridge. There, old and young visitors with and without disabilities can experience the "ecological heart" of the national park. Native mixed beech forests grow over a large area on the ridge between the Rursee and Urftsee lakes. Located in the middle of it all, the Wild Kermeter has a barrier-free network of paths.
You can reach the Eifel-Blick via Heimbach and Gemünd on the L 249. After you have "climbed" the Kermeter, change to the L 15 in the direction of Rursee/Schwammenauel and follow this for 3.5 km to the Kermeter parking lot. From here, follow the signs for "Hirschley" (approx. 2 km).
