Wallendorf

Our campsite in Wallendorf is located in the middle of one of the most famous hiking areas of the German-Luxembourgish Nature Park, close to "Luxembourg's Switzerland" ("La Petite Suisse"). It is located directly at the confluence of the Our and Sauer rivers, which form the border to Luxembourg, an ideal starting point for hikes in the small "Luxembourg Switzerland" or the extensive forest area between Wallendorf and Bollendorf.

For fishing (with fishing license) the two rivers offer all possibilities. Our campsite is ideal for families with children. In the early and late season, campfires are permitted on four pitches by prior arrangement. And to stay in touch with home, there is free Wifi on the campsite.

The landmark of the village with more than 2,720 inhabitants is the Hochsimmerturm. But also the volcanic park stations "Ettringer Lay" and "Ettringer Bellerberg" are known beyond the region and offer fascinating insights into the history of the region.

    Special attractions of the municipality of Langenfeld with about 670 inhabitants are the late Gothic pilgrimage chapel St. Jost, which was built around 1400, as well as the 3-tunnel visitor mine "Grube Bendisberg", which offers fantastic insights deep into the interior of the earth and brings old mining traditions to life.
