Prüm
The Willwerath Reservoir, with a water surface area of 1.62 ha, is the club’s fishing water managed by the Angelverein Prüm 1967 e.V., which is responsible for its maintenance and regular stocking. In addition to large predatory fish such as pike and zander, the reservoir is naturally stocked with native “Eifel brook trout” and is one of the few lakes in the region where rainbow trout have not been introduced. Perch and eels are also part of the local biodiversity. For non-predatory anglers, the reservoir offers the opportunity to fish for both mirror carp and common carp. Roach, chub, and bream may be caught without any limits. For all other species, the statutory closed seasons and minimum sizes apply.
Fishing permits can be purchased on Sundays when the hut is open (see Hut Service) or at our sales locations in Prüm: Total Station Prüm, Ritzstraße 23, 54595 Prüm, open Monday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Profi Müller, Dausfeld Industrial Park, Jakob-Fugger-Str. 9, 54595 Prüm; open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., featuring a bait shop and an extensive selection of fishing gear and accessories in the store’s pet department.
