In addition to large predators such as pike and zander, the reservoir is of course stocked with original "Eifel brook trout" and is one of the few lakes in the region in which the rainbow trout has found no entry. Also perch and eels are part of the native biodiversity. The coarse angler offers the reservoir the opportunity to fish both mirror and dandruff carp. Roach, chub and bream may be removed without limitation. For all other types, the legal seasons and minimum dimensions apply.
