Klostergaststätte Maria Laach

After almost two years of construction, the new Maria Laach monastery restaurant has been open since spring 2022. The monastery restaurant is located between the Seehotel and the monastery nursery. With the construction of the restaurant, the Benedictine Abbey has literally opened up further to visitors: A section of the Klausur wall was removed to provide barrier-free access to the nursery and restaurant, and it also provides a completely new view of the abbey church. Around the new monastery restaurant, a new square situation invites visitors to linger. The offer is rounded off by a playground for small and older children. The playground is directly visible from the spacious terrace of the monastery restaurant.

The Klostergaststätte has a total of approx. 300 seats indoors and outdoors. The restaurant team is therefore happy to accept reservations for groups of 10 or more. There is continuous warm cuisine from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at family-friendly prices.
