The juniper heaths in Arft, Langscheid or Virneburg, among others, are a real "insider tip" of the Vordereifel. Today they are home to a variety of protected animal and plant species, which can be explored on a guided tour with the Wacholderwacht Osteifel.

The alpacas and llamas graze in an orchard below the Schönecken Castle ruins. There, we'll get to know the animals in a relaxed atmosphere and learn how to lead these patient and curious animals. Then our llama and alpaca walk begins at the Schönecker Schweiz nature reserve.
