Rangertour Gemünd im Nationalpark Eifel

every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month | The national park rangers offer guided hikes several times a week - free of charge and without registration. There is a suitable tour for every visitor! The start times and meeting points of the tours are always the same - this makes planning easier for you.

On the way through oak forests
On winding paths, you will climb the heights of the Kermeter amidst oak forests. At the end of the roughly three-hour tour, you will know the significance of the "Kaisereiche". Please note that due to the inclines, the hike is classified as moderate to difficult.

Hearing-impaired guests can borrow a mobile hearing amplifier if they register in advance. Otherwise, registration for the free tours is not required. We kindly ask that larger groups of 10 or more people announce themselves in advance at 02444/9510-0.

The ranger tour takes place every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.

• From the direction of Cologne, Bonn, Trier, Euskirchen, Kall: Depart from Kall train station at 10:30 AM with the SB82 (towards Vogelsang I P) to Gemünd Church. Departures are possible every hour.
• From the direction of Heimbach: Depart from Heimbach train station at 10:15 AM (or other stops in Heimbach) with bus line 231 (towards Gemünd, Mitte) to Gemünd Mitte. Departures are possible every hour.
• From the direction of Roetgen, Simmerath, Rurberg, Einruhr: Arrive with bus line 63 to Vogelsang IP Walberhof. There, take the SB82 (towards Kall station) at 10:08 AM to Gemünd Church. Departure possible at 14:39.
