We discovered him for the Wittlich stage in the beautiful neighboring town of Enkirch – made an inquiry – and he immediately agreed with pleasure. The internationally active drummer Dirk-Peter Kölsch. The range of formations he is involved in is extensive – we are happy that he was able to inspire the colleagues of the Jörg Brinkmann Trio for a performance on the day after Christmas in Wittlich. 

The internationally known musician Jörg Brinkmann (*1976) belongs to the "crossover" cellists. He has expanded the possibilities of the cello in his own special way and developed a distinctive, personal sound. He uses the cello as a lyrical melody and solo instrument, as a bass, but also as a harmony instrument. Jörg Brinkmann is at home in both classical music and jazz and improvised music.
