Welcome to vacation and relaxation in the "Haus in der Sandkaul" in the tuff village of Weibern in the Volcanic Eifel. Our house is in a wonderfully quiet location in a cul-de-sac against the magnificent backdrop of a tree-lined tuff wall. Our lovingly furnished, spacious vacation apartment - located on the first and second floor of our house - offers approx. 90 square meters of space for 2 - 6 people. It has 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower or shower bath and toilet, a cozy living room under the roof and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. All rooms are equipped with SAT-TV. An extensive selection of books awaits you on both floors. Piano players can try out their art on a melodious piano on the second floor. The spacious, romantically designed garden with pavilion and pond offers secluded spots to relax and socialize with the possibility of a barbecue. Surrounded by wooded greenery, the tufa village of Weibern is an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions, e.g. to Lake Laach, the Nürburgring and the Rhine, Moselle and Ahr rivers. On hikes along the geological trail, you can get to know the unique landscape with its rock formations and in summer, the Vulkanexpress takes you on a tour of the beauty of the Brohl Valley. You can set off by bike directly from the front door into the romantic and wild Eifel. We are happy to provide you with bicycles free of charge. The heated outdoor pool in our village, located in the middle of the forest, invites you to have fun and relax in summer. If you like swimming in a lake, the idyllic Riedener Waldsee is the right place for you; it is only 10 minutes away by car, or you can simply hike there. A picturesque restaurant or a pizzeria right by the lake invite you to enjoy a delicious meal. Shopping facilities for your daily needs are available in the supermarket, a 10-minute walk away at the edge of the forest. Our local farm store offers a small but fine regional range of potatoes, eggs from happy hens, meat and sausage, as well as seasonal fruit. Our traditional bakery awaits you just a few minutes away from the vacation apartment. A traditional restaurant (open on weekdays) and a fast food restaurant are just around the corner. Other restaurants can be found within a radius of a few kilometers. Our picturesque district town of Mayen with its fairytale Genoveva Castle offers extensive shopping opportunities. To maintain your health, there are two general practitioners, a dentist and a pharmacy in the town. Parking spaces are available for your car in front of the house. Bicycles can be stored. Welcome in the Holiday flat Mönig Müllerbach is located close to the Nürburgring and is a perfect starting-point to explore the Eifel.

We have given our holiday home this name because we enjoy the colourful blossoms of the meadow surrounding the house every year. We are happy to let you share in the natural diversity, which is also framed by the planted enclosure of the property. The detached house offers plenty of space for our guests with its three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a guest toilet as well as a kitchen and a bright living room. The guest WC, kitchen and living room lead off from the central hallway, which provides direct access to the terrace. Garden furniture is available and a marquee protects you from the sun. On the upper floor you will find two bedrooms as well as a bathroom with shower and bathtub. In the basement you will find the third bedroom with its own bathroom. A garage is available for storing motorbikes, bicycles, etc. Your car can be parked on the property. You can park your car on the property.Let your legs and soul dangle, you will enjoy the fresh air, the silence and the uniqueness of the Eifel landscape. Start directly your hiking and cycling tours, as well as excursions in the surroundings in front of the front door, or relax in peace on the terrace.

The vacation apartment is located in the beautiful district of Nideggen. Not only people feel at home here, but also their pets. The old town of Nideggen is within walking distance, where you can visit cafés, restaurants and the castle. There are also wonderful hiking trails to the sandstone cliffs from the holiday apartment. ideal starting point for all activities.

This is us We, Sabine and Thomas Kuck and our three children, welcome you to our family-run guesthouse on the edge of the High Fens, the largest and still intact upland moor in Europe. Our pension, which was built in 2013 and expanded in 2020, is located on the outskirts of Mützenich, in the municipal area of the picturesque town of Monschau. Our guesthouse with its 7 rooms has been classified with four guesthouse stars by the DeHoGa Düsseldorf. We are also certified by the adfc “bett & bike” and are a recognized host “Wanderbares Deutschland”. Within walking distance there are two good restaurants. Further culinary offers can be found in Monschau, four kilometres away, but also in the neighbouring communities of Simmerath and Roetgen. Are you planning an excursion to the medieval town of Monschau, the Eifel National Park or would you like to discover one of the traditional cities like Aachen or Maastricht? In addition to free parking directly at the house, you can park your bicycles and motorbikes in our garage on request. While the “little ones” let off steam on our playground, with trampoline and football goal, the “big ones” rest within sight on our comfortable seats or loungers. In our new comfortable breakfast room you start the day fresh and rested with a wonderful view of the nature. Enjoy our breakfast buffet daily from 8 am. Besides fresh rolls and bread from the local baker and regional sausage and cheese specialities, we also offer homemade jams and honey from the Eifel beekeeper. Our rich breakfast buffet includes different kinds of muesli, seasonal fruits and vegetables and … eggs from our own chickens. We serve fresh coffee, different kinds of tea and juice. Groups: Groups are very welcome in our house. In the evening we are happy to provide you with our comfortable breakfast room as a lounge.
