Schwerfen is located on the northern edge of the Eifel, at the transition from the Zülpicher Börde to the Eifel. From here it's all uphill. The A1/A61 highway to Cologne, Bonn, Aachen and the Eifel is nearby. From the house you can walk to the field in 5 minutes, for example to go for a walk with your dog. There you will find, among other elevations, the Rabenberg, which offers you a great view over the rolling hills of the Voreifel to the open-air museum in Kommern, a view as far as the Siebengebirge and as far as the Sophienhöhe at the Hambacher Loch. The Matthias Column on Aggrippastrasse/Römerstrasse is also within walking distance. In the Börde, directly near Zülpich, is the water sports lake with the LandesGartenSchauGelände. Our flat house Schmuckkörbchen in Altrich has two flats and offers you an extraordinary garden pleasure with old trees on around 2000 square metres. The ground-floor holiday flat Gartenglück has a double bedroom and a bright living room with an open-plan kitchen, both with access to the garden. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower. The open, fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook and enjoy meals together. There is a modern sofa bed in the living room, which can be folded out and used as a bed if required. The Kaminstübchen has a combined bedroom and living room with an open-plan kitchen and a bathroom with shower and WC. If you wish, you can also access our large garden from the Kaminstübchen. The house has its own car park for your car. Bicycles can be safely parked in our garage and e-bike batteries can be charged here free of charge. Our Schmuckkörbchen is a non-smoking house, but you are welcome to smoke on the covered terrace of the Gartenglück holiday flat and in the covered carport in front of the Kaminstübchen.
