The vacation apartment is located in Kommerscheidt, a district of Nideggen-Schmidt, at the end of a quiet side street directly on the edge of a field and forest. The apartment is detached. It was built from 2017 to 2018 and will be rented out as a vacation apartment for the first time from mid-April 2019.The pond is located nearby, a natural body of water that offers a cool place to linger, especially in midsummer with its surrounding trees.On a clear day, the dining table offers a wonderful view of up to 70 km into the flatter surrounding countryside between Jülich and Cologne.Within the village there are shopping facilities for daily needs. There are 2 bakeries, a supermarket, a post office, a petrol station, a pharmacy, as well as a doctor (general practitioner) and a dentist. If you want to keep your own kitchen cold, 3 restaurants offer the possibility to have a good dinner in the immediate vicinity after an exciting day of hiking or excursions. Two banks (Sparkasse and Volksbank) are located in the village.Minimum stay 2 nights.
The holiday appartement Moni is situated at the entrance of the village of Sirzenich. It holds a separate entrance with terrasse, garden and a possibility to grill. Combined studio divided onto 2 floors with a kitchen and a possibility to sit; shower/toilet on the ground floor. Bedroom with french bed, 2 armchairs, a stool and a table as well as a flat screen TV.

A part from the fully equipped kitchen, the electro grill on the 6 sqm big terrasse presents another possibility to prepare your own meal. The living and dinig room as well as the 2 bedrooms offer enough space for 2 people. The rather small bathroom includes a toilet, a bathtub and a shower.

There are also some wonderful mountain bike tours around Wirft. The Ahr cycle path is being rebuilt after the flood and can be ridden in the direction of Blankenheim and as far as Altenahr. The shopping town of Adenau, 7 km away, with all the usual discounters and a wide range of restaurants, can be reached quickly. The world-famous Nürburgring is only approx. 9 km away by car Cologne/Bonn Airport is 77 km away and Hahn Airport is 81 km away. In addition to the world-famous Nürburgring, the Kaiser-Wilhel-Tower on the Hohe Acht, the Dauner Maare, the Maria Laach monastery, the Freilinger bathing lake or the Kasselburg eagle and wolf park invite you to take a trip. You can hire bicycles or e-bikes in the shopping town of Adenau. The "Barweiler Mühle" fishing park with several ponds is located in the immediate vicinity (approx. 1500m) of the village.
