Welcome to the Sommerhaus!The house was built over 100 years ago and was completely renovated and modernized in 2020. It is located in the quiet Eifel village of Höfen, the gateway to the Eifel National Park. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, milk frother, fully automatic coffee machine, Philips Gourmet coffee machine, egg boiler, waffle iron, blender with accessories and of course various other cooking utensils.In the dining room there is a large real wood table with ample seating, a children's chair and a comfortable bench. In the living room there is a corner settee that can be converted into a double bed (1.40 x 2.20 m). The programmable and remote-controlled pellet stove creates a cozy atmosphere. A smart TV (WLAN and CI slot) is also available. In the "SPA area" there is a large sauna, two showers, several seating options, two washbasins, a urinal and a toilet. A hairdryer is also available. The entire lower floor (including the shower) is equipped with underfloor heating. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds (2 x 1.80 x 2.00 m / 2 x 1.60 x 2.00 m) and each with a Smart TV. One room is combined as a bedroom and playroom, with a pool table and foldaway bed, which can be folded up and down again if required. With the sleeping possibility in the living room, up to 10 people can spend a pleasant vacation in the summer house. A crib can be provided if required. The bathroom on the upper floor is also fully equipped with WC, washbasin and shower and of course a hairdryer. WLAN is available throughout the house and on the veranda and terrace. Towels, dish towels, high-quality bed linen, wood pellets and toilet paper are provided. Shower gel for hair and body is provided in the bathrooms. Washing-up liquid and dishwasher powder are also provided. Outside there is a terrace with seating and a barbecue as well as a large covered veranda, which can be lit and heated. Ideal for smokers. There are 4 parking spaces in front of the house. There are various shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity (Lidl, Aldi, Real, Kaufland etc. approx. 8 km away).Our house is located directly on the well-known Eifelsteig and invites you to beautiful hikes or bike tours. The historic old town of Monschau is 5 minutes away by car and the Rursee is approx. 25 km away. There are numerous excursion possibilities in the surrounding area, such as the Dreiländereck, Camp Vogelsang, the imperial city of Aachen or the Nürburgring.The house is a non-smoking house; pets are not allowed. The apartment with separate entrance, has a size of 65 square meters with living-bedroom, kitchen, hallway, shower / WC and double bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, coffee machine, toaster, etc. A TV with SAT connection, stereo system with CD and DVD player is also available. Two holiday homes with six beautiful flats, lovingly furnished with a special ambience, for 1-5 people. In the summer of 2022, we converted our former stallion stable into our new holiday flat no. 7 with a special flair for up to six people.A dream for children and horse lovers. Riding lessons, guided rides, hiking with ponies, barbecue evenings with campfire at the brook, riding games, brood mares, riding horses and ponies, the dear farm dog Bruno, rabbits and hares, chickens and our Galloway cattle on our pastures.For bikers there are wonderful trails in the surrounding area. The VulkanbikeMarathon in September and various trail parks for mountain bikers. The Maare-Mosel cycle path is a more moderate way to explore the beautiful landscape.On foot, you can enjoy the volcanic Eifel on the Eifelsteig or on Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2021, the VulkaMaar path. You live on 2 floors in very spacious and light-flooded, stylishly furnished rooms. A separate entrance as well as your own parking space is at your disposal. Our beds are 180x200 m and suitable for allergy sufferers. The modern kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker and invites you to cook with the best equipment. We offer a special service so that you can find a filled refrigerator on arrival if you wish. Access for guests In our large garden area you have many seating options to enjoy the peace and relaxation in our beautiful surroundings. Gaze into the distance and enjoy the lush green of the meadows and trees and the clear blue of the sky. Interaction with guests As hosts, we are always available to our guests.
