Come and relax, enjoy the view and explore nearby walks, bike rides and places of interest.The 90 sqm big appartment with a balcony has its own entrance door, is located on the first floor of the house and was renovated in 2020. The nearest shops are in Gerolstein, Hillesheim and Prüm (10 - 15 kilometres from Duppach) A LITTLE BIT ABOUT DUPPACH AND THE SURROUNDING AREADuppach is a typical Eifel village, with a church, a pub, surrounded by fields, forests and streams. More information can be found here.The nearby hill top 'Heilert' offers vast views across the entire area. There are plenty of opportunities for short and long walks and tracks, some of which are branded and sign-posted.A nearby (2 km) archeological site from roman times showcases a roman style house and small information centre.The smallest maar (volcanic lake) of the region, the Eichholzmaar, is situated close to the village.Our village has its own mineral water spring, free to access by anyone who would like a refreshing drink or fill up their water bottles.The famous "Adenauervilla" by the late German chancellor Konrad Adenauer can be viewed on a walk through the forest.It is worth exploring nearby destinations beyond Duppach too, e.g. the Adler- und Wolfspark in Pelm, the Eifel zoo in Lüneback, Dreimühlen waterfall, many vulcanic hills and maars, castles and castle ruins, the Nürburgring and much more. The region is a great for cycling of various kinds. The newly furnished vacation apartment "Mosenbergblick" is located on the upper floor of our house in the middle of Bettenfeld. It is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The Windsborn crater lake and a volcano adventure park are just a short distance away. You can relax and unwind on our lawn with loungers, gazebo and barbecue area. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, coffee machine, toaster, bread/slicer, egg and kettle, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, oven and ceramic hob. For babies and toddlers there is a baby food warmer, a high chair and a convertible crib with changing mat. The baby/children's bed is in one of the 2 double bedrooms. From the dining and living room, where there is a dining and couch area, you can access the small balcony. Smoking is permitted here. In the couch corner there is a radio, SAT-TV and DVD player. In the bathroom with shower/WC there is a washing machine for free use. Ironing board and iron are also available. W-Lan is available free of charge.

At 200m², our large 12-person holiday home lies directly on the shore of the lake. In 2023 it was once again awarded a DTV certification of 4 stars. The entire house is brightly and nicely furnished. It features 6 double bedrooms, 3 shower rooms with toilet + 1 separate toilet, a living room with 3 leather sofas and fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen with e.g. XXL refrigerator, separate fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a very large dining table. There is a garage for parking bicycles, motorbikes or boats and plenty of parking spaces directly by the house. The offer is rounded off by a pier with separate entry to the lake. Here, you can find a beautiful pedal boat with room for 5 people, which can be used by all of our guests free of charge. Canoes and kayaks can be rented on location and moored at our pier, guaranteeing you quick access to them in the lake at any time. In addition, we offer 3 holiday apartments for 2-3 people and 1 holiday apartment for 1-2 people in the same gorgeous location.

Welcome to our lovingly restored Eifel farmhouse. Here, in our beautiful Vulkaneifel, "Jehöschnis" means a special feeling that is best described as "cozy" and "cozy". Here in our small, idyllic Gees near Gerolstein, we look forward to welcoming you to our historic farmhouse. The farmhouse (Anno 1648) was completely renovated by us in 1990 and previously housed our great-great-grandparents, great-grandparents, grandparents and parents. At the beginning of 2023 we decided to convert our granny flat into a holiday apartment. Our lovingly and comfortably furnished holiday apartment offers 55 square meters of space for 2 people (max. 3 people). Your feel-good factor is our top priority here. In addition, the apartment has a separate entrance, which connects directly to your private garden area with a biotope and a cozy barbecue lounge. Here you can relax after an eventful day on additional sun loungers and enjoy nature.
