Our house is located in the Eifel village of Herhahn, to the west between Schleiden and Gemünd, and borders directly on the Eifel National Park. In the village itself you will find our house near the church and bus stop. Thanks to its direct location to the Rur and Urft lake district, countless excursion destinations are within easy reach: the Rur dam, the town of Monschau, the town of Nideggen, the town of Aachen and the LVR open-air museum in Kommern are perfect for day trips. Walks, long hikes, swimming, strolls through quaint Eifel villages with their half-timbered houses promise variety and relaxation.

Secluded in the Eifel, on the banks of the Ahr, with the hiking trail to the world-famous Teufelsley on the doorstep and yet situated on the main artery to the Nürburgring - this is the location of the country inn. Would you like to forget everyday life in a beautiful atmosphere? Then visit the Landgasthof and enjoy a cool draught beer or a glass of Ahr wine and discover fresh, modern and varied cuisine. On cold days, a large fireplace ensures a cozy atmosphere, while on warm days the outdoor area invites you to linger and relax. The ‘Cinema Forst holiday flat’, which was completely renovated in 2024, has approx. 105m² of living space and a garden of around 360m² with barbecue facilities and an outdoor shower for private use. A dedicated home cinema with a 108-inch screen and powerful sound system, as well as a private library with over 1000 books, make for an exceptional holiday. Underfloor heating, bathtub, walk-in shower and a starry sky in the bedroom make dreams come true.

Our house is located directly on the Eifelsteig in a quiet location in the village of Zemmer. The owner-run restaurant offers all kinds of culinary delights. The heart of the house is our kitchen.With freshly prepared specialties the guest is pampered. Hikers and cyclists are very welcome
