Our holiday home is located in the middle of the Eifel village of Bermel, which was built on a volcanic slope and where the Romans left their traces. Bermel is idyllically nestled between woods and meadows, an ideal starting point to explore the Eifel on foot, by bike, motorbike or by car. Numerous leisure activities make our area a wonderful holiday region at any time of the year. The house was renovated in 2021 with great attention to detail and impresses with the use of natural building materials.   The nearest town of Mayen, as well as the Nürburgring, can be reached by car in 15 minutes. The maars of the Volcanic Eifel are in the immediate vicinity and offer perfect cooling on hot summer days. The "Hochbermeler" dream trail starts right on the doorstep and other dream trails in the surrounding area are within easy reach.

Welcome to our lovingly furnished, about 60 square meters large vacation apartment near the Maare-Mosel bike path in Plein near Wittlich. In the cozy gazebo with barbecue facilities and on the lawn (with sun loungers) you can relax wonderfully and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. In the immediate vicinity of the vacation apartment you will also find a wellness studio on request. Plein is very centrally located, so you can make varied day trips to the Volcanic Eifel as well as to the Moselle. Via the famous Maare-Mosel cycle path you can ride along the former railroad line through impressive tunnels and over breathtaking viaducts in 20 minutes to the Säubrenner town of Wittlich with many cafes and numerous sights.

A little time out, 2 km from Eltz Castle & directly on the "Eltz Castle Panorama" dream trail. An oasis of peace and at the same time centrally located for a variety of cultural and leisure activities on the Moselle, Rhine and Eifel. The vacation apartment was completed in 2015. It is located on the first floor of a listed farmhouse. It is divided into the following rooms: hallway with wardrobe and full-length mirror, living room with spacious fold-out sofa, modern, technically well-equipped kitchen, bedroom with box-spring bed and recliner for reading and relaxing, and bathroom with comfortable shower, WC and bidet. The living room and kitchen are cleverly connected by exposed half-timbered beams. There is a parking space in the courtyard as well as former farm buildings that provide secure storage for bicycles or motorcycles. The terrace and garden with barbecue are available for exclusive use. Special features: Bakery and butcher's shop are only 2-3 minutes' walk away. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity. The farmstead with farm buildings is ideal for bikers and cyclists. The town of Mendig is 4 km away, Mayen 8 km. Vacation destination Eifel Bell is located at 370 m above sea level in the immediate vicinity of Maria Laach Abbey with Lake Laach. The abbey and lake are easily accessible via hiking trails. A variety of hiking trails (dream trails) also cross the Bell district. Castles (e.g. Genoveva Castle, Bürresheim Castle, Eltz Castle) and the Nürburgring are popular excursion destinations. Cyclists and bikers are discovering the Rhine-Moselle-Ahr region with increasing popularity. The apartment is logistically ideally located for this.
