Welcome to the holiday flat Irmgard Ewald Enjoy the scenic and varied region. The place Dorsel is an ideal base for exploring the Eifel on foot to explore by bike, motorcycle or car. The Nürburgring is located in the immediate vicinity and is about 16 km away.

Our old quarry stone building has walls 80 - 90 cm thick. The interior of the building was renovated and extended 70, 40 and just last year. A large garden belongs to the house, which can be used by our guests. We take care of our property, but also leave nature its space in some areas, so that in summer we encounter a multitude of butterflies, the emblem of our village. In autumn, a pair of squirrels collects the nuts. There are also predators at our house, as one or two pairs of magpies always nest in the large beech trees in the garden. There is plenty of parking space on and around our property. Bicycles can be stored.

our vacation home in Daun. Summer house Daun The detached large holiday home is in the middle of the charming small town of Daun. The outside area of the house includes a garden and a 20 sqm balcony with patio furniture. The central location enables cafes, shops and relaxing walking routes to be reached quickly. Free internet / WiFi is available. You will receive a corresponding code word for the WLAN (WIFI). The house extends over 3 floors and offers accommodation for 10 -12 people. There are 5 charming, newly renovated double bedrooms, a spacious living room with TV and a wonderfully cozy couch. You will also be delighted by the equally spacious dining area with a wooden table for 12 people and inviting dishes for relaxed and tasty meals. A cozy secretary can also do the necessary business work. Two bathrooms in the style of the 1960s, 3 toilets and a storage room with washing machine (€ 4.50 fee) are available. A well-equipped kitchen with 4 seats, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle. Pots, cutlery and dishes for the maximum number of people are available. The spice rack can be used with pleasure. The house has a parking space in the garage entrance. The garage can be used to store bicycles. Many sights and leisure facilities are within walking distance. Shopping, shopping, restaurants, cafes, cinema, wellness or indoor hot water bath etc. can be reached quickly. The DRK and emergency doctor is right across the street. A large supermarket and 3 bakeries (also with Sunday sales) and a children's playground can be found only about 100 to 150 meters away. The Daun Maare are ideal for hikes and walks and are only 2 to 3 km away. Visit the Daun spa park, which invites you to linger. Important NOTE: Unfortunately pets are not allowed. The house is not standing! available as a party house! The house is used privately by us in times of non-renting. We have lovingly furnished everything and wish you a lot of joy for your relaxing holiday.

Feel the Freedom!   The newly furnished holiday flat "L' Extravagante im Garten von Schloss Schmidtheim" offers wonderful peace and quiet in a special house: a historic villa from the 19th century. This lovely flat boasts plenty of space and light and natural materials such as wood and stone make the foundation for our guests' relaxation. The high ceilings offer room to breathe, and give this exceptional accommodation a castle flair. Huge windows provide wonderful brightness and the feeling of being part of the natural spectacle taking place outside. A small terrace with its own garden and a view of the large orchard invite you to observe, relax and enjoy. Active holiday guests will also get their money's worth: Just a step out the door and through the red garden gate - kilometres of hiking and cycling trails await to be discovered.   If desired, we are happy to extend an invitation to visit the castle courtyard and park opposite the holiday home. Please get in touch.   LOCATION:   The holiday flat "L' Extravagante im Garten von Schloss Schmidtheim" is located on the ground floor of the villa - in the middle of the Eifel and is surrounded by pure nature. It is only a stone’s throw away from Schmidtheim Castle and is found directly across from the Castle Gardens. Upon arriving, we recommend that our guests take a leisurely discovery walk. About 300 metres from the holiday home is a forest path that leads to a picturesque pond. You should plan about one hour for the way there and back.   For the following days of your stay, you can choose between a diverse range of excursions and hikes offered by Nord Eifel Tourismus. You will find a brochure in the holiday flat. You are also welcome to ask us for tips and excursion destinations at any time. Our family has lived at Schmidtheim Castle for more than 500 years. Cozy and comfortable vacation apartment for 4 people. The house is located approx. 50 m from the edge of the forest. From here you can start your hiking and cycling tours. A tennis court and an indoor riding arena can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot or in a few minutes by car. The Nürburgring is 10 minutes away by car. The Nordschleife (green hell) can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes on well-developed hiking trails. You can do your shopping in the beautiful Eifel town of Adenau, which is 2 km away.Features of the apartment: Non-smoking apartment: Balcony 14 sqm. with balcony furniture.
