VulkaMaar-Pfad: Etappe 2 Meerfeld-Manderscheid

This section begins with impressive views of Meerfeld and the maar from the Landesblick. Over 3.5 km, the trail follows the Eifelsteig and Lieserpfad. The hike through the forest is very varied, alternating between narrow and wider paths. First, the route follows the Kleine Kyll and then the Lieser, all the way to the Manderscheid castles. The babbling of the rivers is a constant companion and creates a very special atmosphere. You’ll enjoy wonderful views of the V-shaped valleys of the Lieser and Kleine Kyll, as well as numerous magnificent panoramic vistas.
