Exploration Tour Around the Village
The Vicht Family Trail is a short, family-friendly hike for explorers of all ages—and it illustrates, within a small area, how nature and the village’s history are intertwined. Spanning about 2.3 kilometers, it winds through Vicht and passes by the Fischbach stream time and again.
At several interactive stations along the way, the trail invites you to take a closer look and recognize connections: why bridges are more than just crossings, what a chapel reveals about times gone by, or what small traces of old crafts can be found in the village landscape. At the same time, the loop opens your eyes to what’s happening right on the edge of the village—flowers, insects, and the quiet bustle at the edge of the meadow.
The route is easy to walk and connects Vicht’s historic alleys with sections along the Fischbach. It is child-friendly, varied, and ideal for a half-day outing in nature.
The hike is marked with the number 04.
