The small castle tour is a beautiful walk around the castle ruins of Nürburg with beautiful views of the Hocheifel-Nürburgring region.

To mark the 100th birthday of Kurt Gratzel, this trail with his paintings through the city shows his most famous paintings by Adenau. The works impressively present Gratzel's artistic cityscapes of Adenau at the respective locations. A very special artist, person and painter of the Eifel is Kurt Gratzel, trained painter, painter, graphic artist and etcher.

From here, there is a picturesque view over the rooftops of the town of Neuerburg, the castle complex, and the landscape of the romantic Enztal.

The Mestrenger Mill is a partly over 400-year-old three-sided farm with a water wheel. Away from the weekends, one rarely hears more than the splashing of the Kall and the sounds of the forest at this place, and at night, one can observe a clear starry sky. We will offer two vacation apartments here starting in 2026.
