Welcome in our well-equipped apartment (approx. 55m²) nearby the forest and next to the city center of Manderscheid. Our cozy flat and the beautiful nature around invite you to just relax! The apartment is located at the ground floor and is equipped with a living-/ bed- and bath room as well as an open kitchen. Towels and bed sheets are all inclusive. Our terrace and the lawn are perfect for sunbathing or enjoying a glas of wine in the evening. There is also a nice corner to have barbeque on mild summer nights. 

The holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Igel, quietly at the edge of the forest, bordering the city limits of Trier. Due to its favorable location, the apartment is an ideal starting point for trips by car, bike or on foot. Signposted hiking trails begin at the front door. If necessary, a hiking guide is available for tours around Igel, of course free of charge. The cycle paths along Moselle are about 1.5 km, Saar about 4 km and Sauer about 5 km. Tours for mountain bikers are also starting at the doorstep. The center to Trier is about 7 km, the borders of Luxemburg about 4.5 km and the city of Luxembourg about 30 km. Good bus and train connections to Trier and Luxembourg.

The vacation apartment is an ideal starting point for hikes on the Eifelsteig and in the Eifel National Park, for cycling tours and excursions. Vogelsang IP with its visitor center and exhibitions can be reached in 5 minutes by car.At the National Park Gate in Gemünd (5 minutes' walk) you can get information and tips for your stay. The three-hour ranger tour starts there at 11 a.m. on Saturdays.Good shopping facilities, 5 minutes' walk to the town center.
