Keltischer Ringwall

Prüm

Open today

The remains of the Celtic ring wall (in Tettenbusch near Prüm) are still subtly visible today in elongated elevations. Small paths through a mystical landscape lead along the former fortification and make the size of the structure understandable. The ring wall consisted of a dry stone wall about 4m high made of reddish sandstone with a timber framework.

Additionally, there is a small reconstruction of the former Celtic gate, which shows what the entrance might have looked like. Information panels explain the stories and the structure of the site.
