The range of offerings extends from practical everyday items such as handmade dishcloths, beeswax wraps, or photo cards to decorative pieces like hand-turned mushrooms, incense burners, or garden pottery.

The farm shop is typically open during courses as well as by arrangement.

    The deco barn in Hausten offers candles and chandeliers in many variations, picture frames, pottery as well as table and garden decorations for all kinds of occasions (weddings, communions, birthdays ...) as well as a farm shop with regional products as well as potatoes, cereals, flour, vegetables, marigold ointment, jam and eggs from our own cultivation or production.

    The community of St. Johann with almost 1,000 inhabitants looks back on a long history. The Bürresheim Castle, which is part of the municipal area, offers its visitors a glimpse into bygone times. Other sights are the Barbarakapelle and the "Ahl", a historical quarry, which was created by the eruption of the Hochsimmer volcano.

    The community of Weiler is idyllically located between the town of Mayen and the Nürburgring. The hamlet flows on the outskirts and the Karbach on the eastern boundary. The Niederelz district further south is affected by Wiesbach and Elz. Together the two places have about 480 inhabitants.
