The Natural History Museum in the old town hall of Gerolstein is on the trail of nature. In addition to minerals, rocks and fossils from the region, there are also exhibits from the prehistoric and early history as well as the most species-rich collection of butterflies in the Eifel.

In the Donnerwetter.de weather park on the almost 700 meter high White Stone in the Eifel, there are insights into the weather, climate and people. In the exhibition hall you can find out how various weather phenomena such as thunderstorms or hurricanes arise.
The "Katzenkopf" tank factory, built between 1937 and 1939, is the northernmost and one of the few tank factories of the former Westwall that can be visited.
