Masterpieces of the Piano Trio  - TRIO E.T.A.

The Trio E.T.A. featuring Elene Meipariani (violin), Nadja Reich (cello), and Till Hoffmann (piano) is one of the outstanding young chamber music ensembles of its generation. In 2021, it was awarded at the German Music Competition and additionally received the special prize from the Rotary Club Bonn as well as the prize from the Friends of Young Musicians Germany. Since then, the ensemble has been supported in its artistic development through numerous concerts. In 2022, it was awarded the Walbusch Prize from Jeunesses Musicales Germany. In 2023, the Southwest German Broadcasting (SWR2) included the trio in its exclusive support program "SWR2-New Talent"; the same year, it also received the Berenberg Kulturpreis.

The evening centers around three masterpieces of the piano trio literature: Joseph Haydn’s Piano Trio in A Major captivates with elegance and lightness, Maurice Ravel's Piano Trio in A Minor with tonal refinement and rhythmic variety, and Robert Schumann's Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor combines romantic expressiveness with passionate drama. Together, these works unfold a multifaceted panorama of the genre.
