When the days get shorter and the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds fills the air, the square at the Lieser in the Säubrennerstadt traditionally transforms into a festively illuminated winter oasis. Under the illuminated chestnut trees, the small Christmas market invites visitors to linger, enjoy, and discover – far from the hustle and bustle, but right in the heart of the city.

The festive atmosphere creates a special place for encounters – whether strolling along selected market stalls, warming up with a hot drink, or listening to the varied music program. There are also attractive side events for both large and small visitors that make the visit a special experience.

Delight & Atmosphere:
Look forward to winemaker mulled wine, mulled beer, hot cocktails, as well as sweet and savory Christmas treats – ideal for relaxing and enjoying the Advent season.

Brilliant City Center:
Once again this year, the entire old town shines in festive splendor: curtain lights and large 3D orb elements create bright eyes among locals and guests. The lovingly decorated shop windows of the retailers invite you to stroll – accompanied by exciting Advent activities such as a raffle and the popular boot action for children.
