On November 28 and 29, 2026, Dudeldorf will open its old city gates and let visitors to the 36th Christmas market experience the magic of the pre-Christmas season against the backdrop of a charming medieval setting.

Visitors to the Dudeldorf Christmas Market can see the two old city gates shimmering in festive colors even from a distance.

However, the full splendor of the Christmas market only reveals itself to guests once they step through the gates and are greeted by an enchanting, contemplative atmosphere in the medieval town center.

Stroll through the narrow alleys and linger at the lovingly decorated Christmas stalls; visit the open barns, garages, and cellars, where exhibitors offer their handicrafts and Christmas gift ideas—all carefully handcrafted.

Special moments of enjoyment, fragrant treats, Christmas music, mulled wine, punch, and Feuerzangenbowle create a feast for all the senses. The Christmas market is complemented by concerts in the festively lit parish church, and St. Nicholas treats the little ones to the famous Dudeldorf “Weckmänner.”
