The Eifelverein Daleiden-Dasburg offers a guided hike in Waxweiler.


The Eifelverein, Daleiden-Dasburg chapter, is offering a guided Saturday hike near Waxweiler.
The meeting point is at 2:00 p.m. at the parking lot by the EDEKA in Waxweiler. From there, the approximately 10-kilometer loop hike first follows the bike path to Heilhausen. It then heads up to Pintesfeld and on to the Mariensäule. A scenic return route finally brings hikers back to the starting point in Waxweiler.

With a total elevation gain of about 250 meters, the hike is classified as moderately difficult.

To round off the day in a relaxed manner, we’ll stop for a bite to eat at the Pizzeria and Kebap Haus in Waxweiler afterward.

Sturdy footwear is recommended. Guests from near and far are, as always, warmly welcome.
